The historic interiors of the New Town Hall will once again bring great tastes from all over the world. Try a little of everything and get to know the new combinations of flavours. Almost thirty culinary experts and chefs will prepare grilled meats, Asian specialties, seafood, Caribbean dishes, Mexican quesadillas, Belgian fries, gourmet hot dogs, Tyrol cheese and sausages, French tartlets, Czech muffins and much more. You will also have a chance to taste drinks, selection of coffee, French wines and local beers.

Prague coffee festival

Prague Coffee Festival is a must visit for coffee lovers. It is the largest coffee festival in the Czech Republic, where experts from the world of coffee and enthusiasts from the general public regularly meet. Everything around coffee, with coffee and about coffee will be shown and discussed here. Visitors can look forward to lectures, tasting coffee samples from local and foreign roasters, roasting demonstrations, presentations, workshops, professional coffee tasting, so-called cupping, or a popular milk battle – a competition in latte art, which is drawing milk coffee foam. The festival will also offer a variety of snacks, ranging from sweet bakery products, homemade cheesecakes, donuts and churros to burgers or Chinese and vegan specialties.

One-day ticket for Saturday and Sunday costs CZK 399 per person. The program for both days will be very similar, so you don’t have to worry about having to experience or taste less on Sunday compared to the visitors on Saturday. The presentations of individual cafes and roasters will differ in particular.

TIP: The ticket price includes: unlimited coffee tasting, a number of workshops, cupping, cafes and roasters and interesting lectures.

Goose and apple cider celebrations

How much?  50 CZK (children under 12 years for free)

Another open-air gastronomic event where you can taste typical Czech speciality is Goose festival. Goose feasts and apple cider celebrations take place every year on the Smíchov riverbank. Goose thighs, goose calf, goose pate, goose liver, roast goose, confit goose, smoked goose, goose burger, goose roulade, goose lard grease, etc. For this year´s one day festival will be prepared for about 1,000 fattened geese and you will have a chance to taste more than 15 types of craft ciders.
