Featuring 93 exhibitors including designers, jewelers, fashion designers, graphical designers and interior designers, this year’s Prague Design Week opens its doors to creative minds from all over the Czech Republic.
Exhibitors will be showing off their new products and ideas, and will give you an insight into the process of making. You can look forward to workshops, lectures, and the fantastic Design Cinema. Prague Design Week focuses on telling stories about design by showing you the final product as a process from the initial idea through sketches and prototypes to the finished product.
You can expect to see some fantastic designers, including Jana Hejdová showcasing a collection of original asymmetric lights made of Czech glass, Vika Mayzel, a jeweller who works with a combination of non-conventional materials in some of her pieces such as leather, faux fur, horse hair or glass, and Magdalena J. Poplawski, a Polish sculptor and designer whose most recent work is based on figurative sculpting with a refreshing twist.
